Power Battery Company power for a world of applications

Power Battery Company

The Power High-Rate and PL Series of valve regulated lead acid (V.R.L.A.) batteries have been developed and refined by Power Battery since 1972. It is the battery of choice for many OEM's and users throughout the world. There is never any need to add water to the cells and in fact all vents are factory sealed. These batteries are the ideal choice for U.P.S., emergency lighting, switchgear and other standby applications which need reliable, high rate power.

The Power "TL and Front Access CSL" batteries are the ideal choice for Telecommunication applications which require a reliable, compact and affordable solution. Our state of the art V.R.L.A. design utilizes an absorbed glass mat (A.G.M) separator technology to immobilize the battery electrolyte.

High Rate (UPS)

The POWER HIGH-RATE series of sealed batteries has been developedand refined since 1982. The design is driven by the market’s demand for reliability, performance and durability. Our product development team combines the latest materials together with state-of-the-art manufacturing processes to produce the most costeffective battery solution for today’sapplications.

Features and Benefits
  • Ten year design life in standby float service.
  • A recognized component of U.L.
  • Non-spillable valve regulated lead acid battery (VRLA) design.
  • Advanced absorbed glass mat technology (AGM) with gas recombination greater than 99%.
  • Operates at a low internal pressure.
  • Never needs watering, minimal maintenance.
  • Advanced lead tin calcium alloy, reduces grid corrosion and promotes long battery life.
  • Shock absorbent thick wall polypropylene cases.
  • Cold forged non-porous terminal bushings eliminate post leakage.
  • Thermally welded cover to case bond, eliminates both acid and electrical leaks.
  • Over-sized, through the partition inter-cell welds provide low resistance connections with minimal power loss.
  • Each cell has a low pressure safety release venting system recognized per U.L. 924.
  • Measured high vacuum acid fill reduces electrical variability between cells.
  • 100% recyclable materials.
