Sure Power began with a distribution deal with one manufacturer and the formation of a service group. The Baltimore office opened in 1998 which expanded capabilities to Northern Virginia. Sure Power continued to grow from Connecticut through Richmond and opened an office in North Jersey in 2011.
From the beginning, the leadership team has led Sure Power to experience solid growth in all battery sectors and now boasts 52 employees across three offices. Some of our leaders are highlighted here.
Paul graduated from St. James High School, PA in 1979. He entered electrical training and began a job with an electrical contractor immediately after high school. From 1985 to 1994, Paul worked as an electrical foreman until he founded Sure Power, Inc. in 1994.
Karl is skilled at designing and redesigning battery rooms with both wet and VRLA solutions. He has held several director positions with ABC, ASA and the Merrick Family Foundation and stays active in his community by coaching soccer. As Executive Vice President, Karl oversees operations in Maryland. Some of his most notable projects are the Pentagon post 911, AOL and multiple large Secret Government sites. Karl is married with 3 sons, 2 of which are attending his alma matter, Calvert Hall.
