In the second video of our 6 part series, Dave Mortimer and Butch Bowen share some additional information about how Sure Power helps our customers with the Design for a new project.
All projects begin with a site survey from a qualified engineer and project manager. This step is crucial to determine racking, battery and UPS sizing. This stage also allows us to review our Method of Procedure (MOP) as well as prepare for any logistical concerns that could arise upon installation. You don’t want any surprises and neither do we!
After a site review, any necessary drawings and calculations are developed as we work with you to determine the specifications of the project.
The first steps we take when beginning a new project is to gather all the information and set up a site survey so we can send a qualified technician or project manager out to get all the pertinent information as far as what the client is looking for, what exactly the client has in place now.
Whether it’s batteries, racks, spill containment, battery monitoring system, we can custom tailor our design to meet the customer’s needs based on what’s the best fit for the application as well as the customer’s budget. We actually do the coordination, scheduling, develop methods of procedure, drawings, to make sure there’s a clear understanding of what the scope of work is to meet the customer’s needs as designed.
Join us again next week as we take a deeper dive into Product Selection.
