EnerSys created the DataSafe HX 12HX205 to furnish backup power for vital systems and high-rate applications. The HX 12HX205 meets UL safety standards and is recommended for use in air freight applications. The low level of gas evolution makes the HX 12HX205 an ideal choice for use in low-ventilation environments.
The DataSafe HX 12HX1205 is made up of individual flame-arresting cell vents; high-performance, brass-threaded faston terminals; a receptacle and bolt terminal of the same materials; and opposite charged lead-calcium-tin alloy plate grids. Like all EnerSys batteries, the HX 12HX205 exhibits 100% battery capacity at initial discharge. A flame-resistant cover and case for the HX 12HX205 battery is available and meets stringent UL 1778 standards.
